FAQs

  • Once the consultation is completed and your lab work is reviewed, you and the medical provider will choose a treatment plan. Medications which can be prescribed are Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, Retatrutide, Contrave, Naltrexone.

  • No, some come in oral forms like a troche (dissolves) or a capsule/tablet.

  • Every month or roughly every 5 th injection.

  • We offer two options: weekly injections by our provider or a pay ahead option. This option is $500 for semaglutide or $700 for tirzepatide, includes 5 prefilled injections packed in an insulated pack. This pay ahead price also includes the $50 provider follow up fee.

  • Our medical provider will review the intake form and consult you fill out. It includes your medical, surgical, family medical history, current and past medications, current and past labs, previous weight loss attempts. She will explain the mechanism of the medications offered, including potential side effects and strategies on how to mitigate those, duration of treatment, and expectations. She will review weight loss recommendations such as dietary changes, exercise strategies, and potential supplementation. The cost of the consultation is $50.

  • This is a very individual journey for each person. If the patient follows the program recommendations for water intake, exercise, diet and avoidance of alcohol he or she can expect to lose 2-3 pounds per week. If recommendations are not followed, weight lost per week averages 1-2 pounds.

  • Yes, we can use your HSA card to pay for your consultation, injections, and follow up. There is always a chance the HSA provider can reject it later.
